Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Planner located in Santa Fe, NM, with some work from home acceptable. The Senior Planner will be responsible for overseeing planning projects, conducting analysis, preparing reports, and making recommendations related to urban planning and development. Responsibilities include coordinating with other departments and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with zoning and land use regulations, and engaging in public outreach and community engagement activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in urban planning, community development, or related fields
- Proficiency in analyzing data, preparing reports, and making informed recommendations
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills for community engagement
- Knowledge of zoning and land use regulations
- Ability to coordinate projects and work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Public Administration, or related field
