SALARY: $19.00 per hour.
40 hours per week Monday – Friday * Approximately 4 weeks will have overnight hours * May 19th 2025 through August 29th 2025
LOCATION: City of Saratoga Springs – Department of Public Safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualification(s) must be met and clearly detailed on the City of Saratoga Springs employment application form by the last filing date:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess and maintain a current and valid NYS driver’s license throughout the duration of employment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to work out of doors, occasionally under adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pound short lifts and 50 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to work in a highway construction environment where most of the work takes place in and around motor vehicle traffic.
DUTIES:
- Assist Traffic Department in the installation AND maintenance of traffic pavement markings and other related traffic control devices on all city streets and parking lots.
