This position performs skilled and complex daily activities relating to maintenance and diagnostic services for carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Estimate and procure compatible materials and tools required to perform maintenance, repair and construction-related functions.
• Carry out general repairs, such as fixing or replacing doors, windows, and locks, and maintaining and repairing HVAC systems.
• Perform routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets and sinks, fixing water leaks, and leaking faucets.
• Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facilities.
• Perform carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures.
• Handle painting and plastering tasks to maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
• Maintain appropriate work records and documents, including work orders and formal and informal inspections.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Prepare and process daily work reports, inspection reports, work orders, requisitions, sketches, etc.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance and repair requirements, hazards, code violations, and priorities.
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency service calls, diagnoses problems and makes minor repairs.
• Estimate and procure compatible materials and tools required to perform maintenance, repair and construction-related functions.
• Ensures adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
High School graduation or GED equivalent and two (2) years of experience in performing building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and minor construction maintenance and repairs; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must possess and maintain valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving history.
