This temporary position runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day and is vital in keeping Seaside clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors alike. If you enjoy hands-on work, being outside, and having a variety of tasks each day, this might be the job for you!
Key Responsibilities Include:
π§Ή Cleaning and maintaining public restrooms (sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, restocking)
ποΈ Emptying public trash cans and picking up litter at parks, beaches, and public spaces
πΏ Power washing sidewalks and boardwalk areas
πΏ Mowing, watering, trimming, and weeding in public parks
π¨ Painting city buildings, doors, and trim as needed
π Operating city vehicles and using a variety of tools and equipment
π· Assisting with tasks in other public works divisions as needed
This physically active job requires lifting, walking, bending, and working in various weather conditions. Training and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure your safety on the job.
Position Details:
β° 40 hours per week, including weekends and some holidays
π² Pay: $18.00 per hour (no benefits)
