Position:
The City of Sharonville is seeking an energetic, motivated and passionate Camp Counselors to support camp programming at the Sharonville Community Center. If you are passionate about giving back to your community, working with youth, and growing professionally, this is the job for you! Under the direction of the Recreation Department and the Camp Manager, seasonal Camp Counselors will lead daily activities and while providing short-term care of campers. Primary responsibilities include running daily game, event and storytelling activities; enforcing policy and procedures related to child care and camp programming; actively communicating with staff, parents and campers. Candidates must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays during the camp season. Qualified candidates should have excellent customer service and communication skills. It is strongly preferred that candidates possess a minimum of one year of responsible experience in camp counseling or childcare. CPR and AED certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire date.
