We are looking for someone to assist the teacher in our "Kids Corner" preschool program for the 2024/2025 school year. Shoreview's "Kids Corner" offers children ages 2½ to 5 years a variety of fun and educational activities designed to stimulate their social and intellectual development. In this program, younger participants learn about letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, while older learners prepare for kindergarten through a curriculum designed around language, problem solving skills, pre-reading and pre-arithmetic. They also explore art, music, dramatic play, physical fitness and literature.
This program follows the school year, running from September 2024 through May 2025. We offer a full-day program as well as half days in the mornings and afternoons, Monday - Friday. Kids Corner is located in the Community Center. Assist the Preschool Instructor in teaching activities
Assist with keeping children engaged in activities and maintaining order
Communicate with children, parents and other staff
Other tasks as assignedMust be at least 16 years old
Coursework in elementary education is desired
