We're looking for someone to plan and teach in our creative recreation preschool program. Shoreview's "Kids Corner" offers children ages 2½ to 5 years a variety of fun and educational activities designed to stimulate their social and intellectual development.
In this program younger participants learn about letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, while older learners prepare for kindergarten through a curriculum designed around language, problem solving skills, pre-reading and pre-arithmetic. They also explore art, music, dramatic play, physical fitness and literature.
This program follows the school year, running from September through May. We offer a full-day program as well as half days in the mornings and afternoons, Monday - Friday. Kids Corner is located in the Community Center.
Full day program has hours ranging from 7 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Half day program has mornings and afternoons, Monday - Friday.

- Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young children; organize and lead activities.
- Supervise children including keeping children engaged in activities, observing their progress in the program, and maintaining order.
- Communicate with parents, children and other staff.
- Maintain program records and other administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design required.
- Degree or coursework in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Development preferred.
- Previous Preschool curriculum design experience preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
