What are the responsibilities and job description for the SuperSitter Instructor position at City of Shoreview?
The SuperSitter Babysitting Clinic is offered to both beginning and experienced baby sitters. The instructor is expected to teach the basics of child care, how to handle an emergency or illness, first aid, sitter safety, crafts, kid proofing, toys, nutrition and more in order to prepare participants for babysitting work.
An instructor manual is provided outlining the basic course content. Presenting the material in a way that will engage the participants is important.

Wage: $13.00– 16.00 per hour depending on experience.

· Teach the skills needed for safe care of infants and children.
· Educate and motivate participants.
· Start and end classes on time.
· Experience working with children preferred.
· Previous babysitting experience preferred.
· CPR and basic first aid certifications preferred.
· Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hours: Weekends—Flexible schedule. Classes run 4 hours.Wage: $13.00– 16.00 per hour depending on experience.
