WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the Deputy Finance Director, you will:
- Assist in preparing budgets and updating the Capital Improvement Plan, collaborating with Finance Director and City Manager.
- Manage city grants, resolve payment issues, and ensure accurate financial reporting to grant agencies.
- Oversee accounting tasks, including reconciliations and reporting, and serve as the main liaison during audits.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a related field, plus 5 years relevant work experience in public financial administration or related fields. Municipal government accounting experience preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000 - $90,000 annually
