WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the Human Resources Director, you will be the driving force behind our HR policies, procedures and strategies. You will:
• Develop/implement policies that promote equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and professional development programs.
• Partner with city leadership to align HR practices with strategic goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field required, plus a minimum of five years of experience in human resources leadership and administration, preferably in a municipal setting. Certification as a Human Resources Professional (SHRM, HRI or similar) preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
