Summary
Under the direction of the Deputy Director, the Prevention Manager is responsible for the organization, community outreach, and resource navigation around opioid prevention within the City of South Salt Lake. The Prevention Manager will interact with community leaders, partner organizations, residents and volunteers to facilitate opioid prevention projects and messaging to better address root issues in the City around substance misuse.
Essential Responsibilities And Duties
1.2 Creates and oversees additional prevention projects and events.
1.3 Manages related grant budgets, reports to grant funders, and seeks out long-term financial support for sustainability.
2.2 Attends monthly meetings and relevant additional training.
2.3 Participates in relevant workgroups.
3.2 Facilitate survey collection and data analysis in relation to relevant prevention curriculum.
4.2 Support community members in navigating related resources and opportunities.
4.3 Act as a liaison between community members and partner resources as necessary.

- Afterschool Program Support:
3.2 Facilitate survey collection and data analysis in relation to relevant prevention curriculum.
- Community Outreach:
4.2 Support community members in navigating related resources and opportunities.
4.3 Act as a liaison between community members and partner resources as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
