JOB TITLE : Specialty Coordinator - Beech Woods Recreation Center
CLASSIFICATION : Non-Career Continuing Part-Time
PAY RATE : $16.00-$18.00 (hourly)
REPORTS TO : Facility Supervisor
WORK SCHEDULE : Up to 20-30 hours per week part-time or Seasonal
Representative Job Duties
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND EXAMPLES OF WORK
- Primary duty is supervising Beech Recreation Golf Range, evening / weekend programs, rentals, and special events.
- Assist Facility Supervisor with scheduling but not limited to payroll, purchase orders and invoices.
- Responsible for supervision of staff, daily accounting of expenses and revenues; daily preparation of revenue drops.
- Develop, in cooperation with Facility Supervisor, revenue generating activities for the facility.
- Interact with facility users and community organizations to provide information and customer service.
- Keep accurate and easily accessible records of all work to ensure organizational continuity.
- Answer phones; answer questions; provide customer service.
- Assist with the promotion in cooperation with Facility Supervisor, of the center and its programs, services, and rental opportunities through various means of communication.
- Open and close office according to procedure.
- If needed register customers for programs, classes and activities using a computer based program.
- Handle credit card transactions and count cash accurately, answer phones in a pleasant and professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Flexible work schedule including weekends and some nights. On-call if needed
