Riverfront Spokane is seeking temp-seasonal workers to assist as Parking Attendants. Parking Attendants provide great customer service to visitors in Riverfront Spokane parking lots and support Park Rangers in issuing parking citations. All training will be provided!
Parking Attendant schedules are variable depending on events or concerts. Shifts may be on any day of the week but are typically on Fridays, Saturdays, and/or Sundays. Weekends, evening and night availability is required. Parking Attendants are expected to cover approximately three (3) eight (8) hour shifts per week.

EXAMPLES OF JOB FUNCTIONS
The following Responsibilities and Requirements are functions the individual who holds or desires the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be a good will ambassador for Riverfront Park Spokane and assist people in utilizing parking kiosks, and parking app.
- Direct people to our park amenities and attractions.
- Issue parking citations in Riverfront Park Parking Lots and Park grounds.
- Monitor parking lots for security and safety related issues and report them to Park Rangers and supervisors via radio.
- May be asked to perform routine maintenance on parking kiosks and ticket printing devices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIREMENTS OF WORK:
- Requires frequent interaction with the public.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be physically able to work on your feet and walk long distances in and around the park for the entire shift (breaks allowed).
- Ability to see, with or without corrective lenses, well enough to read fine print on paper and handheld tablets.
- Ability to hear, with or without a hearing aid.
- Tolerance to work in adverse conditions outside in the heat and cold.
