What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASSISTANT MANAGER OF APPLICATION SUPPORT position at City of Stamford, CT?
DUTIES: The Assistant Manager of Application Support plays a key role in supporting the city and the school district's technology goals by assisting with the management, implementation, and maintenance of all software applications used by staff, faculty, and students. This position requires a strong understanding of software management principles, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Supervision Exercised: Supervise in the absence of the Manager of Application Support or designee.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in information services, including two (2) years of experience in software implementation and/or project management
SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: Candidates will be evaluated based on education, knowledge, and experience provided on the application and supplement. All information will be verified.
