Job Overview
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the swimming pool area, assisting guests with pool equipment, and enforcing pool rules and regulations, ensuring that all guests have a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
NOTE : Employee may be required to respond to a disaster, either natural or man-made, to serve the citizens of Statesville. Service to the citizens during a disaster may result in the assignment of other duties, which will take precedence over duties described in this job description. - Collects money from guests upon entering the facility.
- Maintains accurate attendance and concession sale records.
- Gives keys to guests for lockers.
- Enforces pool rules and regulations.
- Sells concessions to pool guests.
- Keeps the concession stand clean and orderly.
- Maintains accurate inventory of concession items.
- Hands out tubes and life jackets for the Lazy River area.
- Monitors guests entering the waterslide area.
- Submits weekly inventory requests.
- Submits daily revenue and concession sales.
- Always provides courteous treatment of pool guests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Related Physical Activity Requirements
This position involves light work requiring the exertion of 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Working Conditions
The employee is subject to outdoor environmental conditions involving extreme heat, high humidity, sun, water, noise, dust, pollens, fumes, chlorine, and hazards including exposure to chemicals, electrical currents, slippery surfaces, and atmospheric conditions. Employee may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
