Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Water Utilities Engineering Division Manager. The Manager will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a group of five including project managers, engineers and a technician. The group’s mission is to manage the City’s Water Utilities CIP through prioritization, project selection, engineering and construction of projects. The 2022 10-Year CIP included about $450M in project needs. The City’s water and wastewater rates produce approximately $11M annually in revenues for capital projects; additional funding include grants and loans.
Requirements: Experience in transportation and drainage project engineering and management is required. Other requirements include strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. PE is required. Previous management experience preferred.
Salary range: $121,534.40 to $132,808.00 annually DOQ, plus comprehensive benefits package.
