Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Wastewater Collections Tech III at the City of Tarpon Springs in Tarpon Springs, FL.
Under supervision, performs specialized and complex work to support the daily operations of the City’s wastewater collections system. Includes the construction, maintenance and repair of system components to ensure the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of wastewater collection. Provides leadership and assists in supervising division personnel. Works productively with staff for efficient and compliant operations. Assists in other functions as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least four years experience in public wastewater systems maintenance and repair required
- At least one year prior supervisory experience required
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Wastewater certification or relevant industry certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional technical training preferred
