Education and Experience:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and three (3) years of varied administrative support experience preferably involving some public contact or two (2) years of experience equivalent to Administrative Specialist I at the City of TigardUnion: SEIU

- Assist the Key Public Works Team with various administrative task ensuring teammates have what they need to perform work in the most efficient manner.
- Serve as the lead teammate for special event permits from the public as well as internal teammates. This position serves as an auditor ensuring all permits are complete. This position does not serve as a event planner or organizer of the events.
- Serve as the lead teammate for shelter, field, and recreation reservations and perform monthly reconciliation.
- Assist the team in serving various citizen boards including the Parks and Recreation Board and Water Advisory Board.
- Assist the team with ensuring all vendors are promptly paid and monthly reconciliation of purchasing cards.

Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday, 10 hour days (General hours are from 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.)
- There is opportunity for remote work with flexibility in hours
- Night meetings are sometimes required. (Once a month)
