The City of Topekas Public Works department is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join its team as a Management Analyst. This position plays a key role in supporting the divisions goals and initiatives through operational studies and evaluations, data analysis, and data tracking and reporting.
What you'll do:
- Establish and manage reporting for the department to support the tracking of operations and departmental initiatives.
- Provide data-driven insights on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and standardized business metrics.
- Research and develop business plans to support sustainability and other strategic efforts.
- Provide support for customer communications with internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate is:
- A skilled problem solver with the ability to analyze data and make sound decisions.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to provide guidance and advice to all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration Business Administration, Construction Management or a related field is required.
- Two years experience as a management analyst, municipal government budget and/or related financial or analytical experience is required.
- Without a degree, a High School diploma or its equivalent is acceptable with at least six years experience.
- Additional licenses or certifications may be required.

Annual entry salary: $52,782 - $63,337 depending on qualifications
