ABOUT THIS JOB
Position Specific Summary
The Custodial Worker position at the City of Tucson’s Parks and Recreation conducts routine cleaning, sanitizes facilities, and maintains the general upkeep of recreation centers and surrounding areas following safety and sanitation guidelines.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Recreation Coordinator. This position does not supervise.
Duties and Responsibilities
Cleans and sanitizes building interiors and exteriors, including floors, trash, walkways, windows, surfaces, fixtures, countertops, and restroom furniture

Working Conditions
This non-permanent position will work on an intermittent or seasonal basis.
Individuals in this classification may not exceed 1,300 hours in 12 months.

Indoor and outdoor work with some exposure to physical, ergonomic, or emotional hazardous environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Some high schoolWork Experience: Under one (1) year of directly related experience
Valid and Unrestricted AZ Class D Driver License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six (6) months of directly related experience.
Experience utilizing cleaning supplies and tools.
Experience carrying out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision.
Experience working with team members and individually.
