- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in an IT or government setting
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring that tasks are assigned and completed on schedule.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, IT leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and lead project meetings, providing status updates and action items.
- Assist in resource allocation and management, including assigning tasks to team members.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure the availability of required resources.
- Track and report on resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor risk factors and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Identify and assess project risks and issues.
- Collaborate with the IT Project Manager to develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Perform quality reviews and validations to verify that project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary improvements.
- Assist in tracking project expenditures and ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to project costs.
- Monitor procurement processes for project-related goods and services.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and change requests.
- Generate regular progress reports for IT leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist in post-project evaluations and documentation of lessons learned.
