Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation, Business or Public Administration, or a related field and,
5 years Parks and Recreation, Municipal or program/project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Texas Driver's License upon hire.

Position Overview
- Oversees aquatics personnel and operations; directs recreation staff, community facilities and sports venue operations; manages childcare operations and ensures standard compliance; promotes and manages recreation programs; evaluates community needs and develops new recreation programs, and program enhancements to meet the needs of the community.
- Assures safety protocol and procedures of recreational facilities, program participants, and childcare
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- Supports the relationship between the City of Waco and the general public by demonstrating courteous and
work-related issues and City information.
