We are looking to fill two (2) positions that will be 40 hours per week for the summer months of May through August. Working hours will be Monday-Thursday from 630am 430pm.
Duties include working in the Parks Department supporting the beauty of our City Parks. Work may consist of mowing and trimming grass, spraying weeds, picking up brush and debris, trimming trees, plants and shrubs, installing landscaping, assisting full-time staff with various road repair projects, operating small hand tools to upkeep buildings, parks and park facilities. This position will also operate a non-commercial truck or vehicle. These positions will be performed outdoors 90% of the time. There will be exposure to heat and inclement weather.
Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid MN drivers license. Physical demands require walking, standing, sitting and the ability to lift 75 pounds occasionally.
Salary : $17
