What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at City of Watertown?
The City of Watertown seeks a professional, organized individual to join the City Manager’s office as an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Deputy City Manager, the Assistant City Manager for Finance, and the City’s Communications Team. This position will also provide back-up administrative support to the City Manager (when the Assistant to the City Manager is unavailable), in addition to lending back-up support for the City’s 311 Service Center.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing excellent customer service by phone and email and in person; processing requisitions and invoices; ordering supplies; meeting and event coordination and preparation; light writing, proofreading, and editing; light website support; preparing the annual report; and general office support. The Executive Assistant will be under the direction of the Deputy City Manager.
