Under the general direction of the Recreation Supervisor, is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the cleanliness of facilities and safety of guests.
Duration: 3 to 4 months
Tentative Start Date: May to September
Work Hours: 4 to10 hours per week
Work Schedule: Nights during the week and weekends.
Wages: $17.00 - $19.00
Must be 18 years of age or older.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- While on duty, responsible for day-to-day operations, guest satisfaction and safety at assigned location.
- Performs general maintenance and housekeeping duties at facilities as required.
- Provides clear communication and updates to the Recreation Supervisor in the event of inclement weather and emergency situations; prepares and files accident reports.
- Follows all park opening and closing procedures.
- Solves basic problems and/or complaints that arise.
- Provides final on-site decisions interpreting league rules for consistent application.
- Maintains direct communication with Recreation Supervisor to ensure the effective operation of recreation programs.
- Performs other duties or assumes other responsibilities as apparent or assigned.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess valid CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Confident in the use of computers and tablets and able to be trained in software required to complete functions of the position.
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
- Able to reach, climb, bend, kneel, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Able to spend the majority of work-related time outdoors.
- Able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of American money, weight, and distance.
- Able to hear, see, and effectively communicate orally (in person and over the telephone) and in writing (using electronic devices and handwritten) in English with other employees, vendors, and the community.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Position requires outdoor work where heat, cold, precipitation, and the results of weather and nature may be encountered.
- During summer months outside temperatures can be over 100 degrees for entire scheduled workday.
- There is no residency requirement for this position.
