What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Parking Agent (Fri - Sat) position at City of Waukesha?
This is administrative work involving the enforcement of parking restrictions in public parking lots and other areas of the City. Enforces parking regulations; special assignments including transporation of items during duty hours. Agent wears uniform prescribed by the Chief and furnished by the City.
Hours : Part-time, 7.5 hours per week, Friday & Saturday, 1 : 30am-5 : 15am
Starting Hourly rate : $24.5799

- Patrols assigned areas of the City to enforce parking regulations.
- Issues tickets for applicable violations of City parking regulations.
- Marks tires of vehicles parked in unmetered timed parking zones, records time and returns at specified intervals to ticket vehicles remaining in spaces illegally.
- Performs routine maintenance on City vehicles and equipment.
- Directs traffic as required for special events.
