Job Title
Recreation Aide - Concessions
What you’ll do - Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cash register including accurately collecting and depositing admission payments and selling concessions (make change & issue receipts)
- Greet the public and answers questions in a friendly manner.
- Follow guidelines and procedures for safe food handling in the concession stands.
- Must take Food Safety course provided by the city before beginning work.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a very fast – paced environment.
- Prepare food/beverages such as popcorn, pretzels, hot dogs, and fountain sodas, using standard formulas and following directions.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, customers, and others, and refer, when necessary, to appropriate staff
- Assist with necessary paperwork such as accident/incident reports, daily deposit reports, and tally sheets.
- Help prevent accidents and allow for the enjoyment of all patrons through the fair and consistent enforcement of policies, rules and regulations governing the conduct of individuals using the parks & recreation facilities.
- Provide high quality customer service by being friendly, tactful, courteous and by always maintaining an alert and professional posture (dress & personal hygiene)
- Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure a professional and enjoyable work environment.
- Perform daily cleaning/organization duties.

You Have (Knowledge & Abilities):
- Must be at least 16 years of age, with work permit, Required.
- Previous experience working with youth, preferred.
