Job Summary
The Park Maintainer is responsible for ensuring the parks and recreational areas within the City of West Haven are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This includes tasks such as mowing, weed whacking, litter removal, and general outdoor maintenance. The role plays a crucial part in ensuring that parks remain inviting and accessible to all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up litter and debris in Painter Park, keeping ground clean and aesthetically pleasing.
- Mow grass, trim edges, and perform other landscaping tasks to maintain park appearance and safety.
- Use weed whackers, leaf blowers, and other tools to maintain park grounds and facilities.
- Assist other park staff as needed with larger projects or tasks.
