The City of Williamsburg's Finance Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Deputy Director. The position is responsible for the overall planning and directing all phases and aspects of major, unique, sensitive and complex professional audits.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field; preferably supplemented by certification as a Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and
- Eight (8) years of commercial and/or government accounting experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
