The City of Williamsburg's Finance Department is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Deputy Director. The position is responsible for performing complex professional and administrative accounting work in and management functions
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or related field; and
- Seven (7) years of accounting experience within local government; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Qualifications:
- Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) or ability to obtain within 2 years of hire
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
