Responsible for general repairs and maintenance in the Parks & Recreation Department. Two positions are available. Applications will be accepted until positions are filled.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Assist with maintenance of city parks, recreation facilities and buildings.Assist with maintenance of athletic fields.Assist with maintenance of the boat docks & boat launch.Assist with maintenance of the municipal outdoor pool.Operate vehicles and equipment as needed.Assist with projects as needed.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Proper knowledge of equipment (mower, trimmer, edger, tractor) as well as materials and supplies used in building & grounds maintenance functions.Skilled in proper and safe operation of tools & equipment.Ability to understand and follow written & oral directions.Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
