Central Park hosts connections to Washington County R.H. Stafford Library, two tenant spaces for facility partners South Washington County Telecommunications Commission, and South Washington County Schools. The Recreation Supervisor – Central Park position oversees the day-to-day operations of Central Park. This includes adhering to budget, policies, standards, and procedures for all phases of the operation; supervising staff; management of Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground and Destination Woodbury-Welcome Desk along with vending and beverage contracts and services. This role ensures efficient facility operation, fosters positive relationships with guests, tenants and partners, maintains budgetary compliance, and upholds high standards for safety and customer experience.

Second round interviews will occur on April 14thESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facility Supervision
Prepare the facility operating budget of revenues and expenditures appropriate to meet budgetary requirements, implementing strategies to maximize revenue generation while controlling costs.
Prepare budget proposals and monitor expenditures, analyzing data trends and utilizing performance measures to drive operational improvements and ensure financial goals are met.
Process invoices and oversee RecTrac daily deposits, manage ERP entries and approvals, and perform month-end financial analysis.
Establish and manage standards for daily maintenance/cleaning and preventive maintenance programs and needs for the building and equipment, collaborating with Building Maintenance and Public Works departments.
Develop and maintain guest FAQs and address visitor and participant concerns and suggestions related to parking, signage, accessibility, and facility operations.
Lead on site tenant and partner communications, ensuring strong relationships and efficient scheduling of events and activities.
Manage facility opening, closing, and security protocols as needed.
Supervise the customer service operations, Destination Woodbury Welcome Desk.
Hire, train, and evaluate all full-time facility staff with direct and indirect supervision of part-time and seasonal staff
Ensure safety, quality and consistency of all facility spaces, recreation programs and special events held on site at Central Park, monitoring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate emergency procedures, serve as the emergency spokesperson, and schedule drills and incident response training.
Provide backup support for access control and security camera footage retrieval, working with IT on security camera issues and replacements as needed.
Utilize a variety of marketing strategies to enhance awareness and maximize engagement with Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground, facility rental spaces, programs, and special events, driving increased rentals, participation and community involvement.
Support the operations of the destination marketing organization, “Destination: Woodbury” as part of the Central Park welcome desk.
Participate actively as a member of the Parks and Recreation Department staff, attend staff meetings, and provide input as required.

Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground
Supervise the operations and maintenance of the Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground, setting playground facility hours, tracking attendance, and monitoring operational effectiveness.
Hire, train and supervise playground staff and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure staff adherence to facility policies and procedures.
Develop and enforce rules and regulations for playground usage.
Establish and follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning, inspections and safety protocols for the indoor playground including maintenance of accident and incident records, inspections, and coordination of repairs.
Oversee purchasing and inventory tracking for playground supplies.
Manage Indoor playground special events, birthday party bookings, and private party rentals and contracts.
Ensure up-to-date marketing and website content for Lookout Ridge Playground.
Manage and track Central Park vending services, including RFP processes, contract agreements and compliance, as well as vendor payments, offerings, services, and communication.
Manage compliance with Liquor License operations at Central Park in cooperation with Eagle Valley Golf Course.
Perform all other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned or apparent.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in recreation, public administration, business, facility management or a closely related field, AND
Two (2) years of experience as a facility supervisor or three (3) years as an assistant facility supervisor or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in recreational facility operations including budgeting, scheduling and contracting rental time, coordinating programs and events, indoor playground operations and tickets.
Minimum of 3 years supervising paid staff, in the capacity of seasonal, part-time or full-time staffing.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
