Responsibilities of this position consist of the following:
3 to 6 month positions available – weather dependent
Minimum Qualifications:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and smell.
- Assist in renovating and restoring baseball/softball fields and dugouts
- Perform on and off field lawncare, including operation of walk behind and commercial multi-deck mowers
- Digging, raking, pounding base anchors with slide hammer
- Lifting 50 lbs bags of chalk/quick dry
- Driving a 1 ton pickup with a dump box
- Operation of a sod cutter
- Helping to dry fields on game days by applying drying agent (50 lb bags)
- Using a Roll dry squeegee to dry puddles
- Using a cordless drill, skill saw, hammer, wrenches, sockets, metal locater
- Operation of pickup truck and trailer
- Taking inventory and filling ballfield storage containers (Job Box)
- Assist in other park related projects as needed. (i.e. forestry, horticulture, playgrounds and other parks amenities)
- Other duties as assigned
- Spraying herbicide/pesticide

- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Minimum age of 18
