What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal EVGC - Maintenance Worker position at City of Woodbury?
Assist in maintaining a municipal golf course, including but not limited to, mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough; grass trimming; seeding, sodding and planting trees and flowers; changing cups; and preparing course for daily play.
May perform any of these typical golf course maintenance tasks:
- Trash and litter pick-up from the course.
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and rough using powered equipment.
- Grass trimming using string trimmers and rotary lawn mowers.
- Raking bunkers with a powered rake.
- Changing cups and preparing the course for daily play.
- Landscaping with hand tools.
- Laying sod, seeding, planting trees and planting flowers.
- Assist in the watering of newly landscaped areas.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Other golf course maintenance activities as directed by the assistant superintendent.
- Maintain and foster an environment, which facilitates the Exceeding Expectations (professional, responsive, leaders) philosophy of the City.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Minimum age of 16

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud in field and garage settings and moderately quiet in office settings.
