What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal - Utility Maintenance (long term) position at City of Woodbury?
The primary purpose of this position is to assist full-time Utility/Public Service Workers and perform other utility related activities as directed by the Utility Supervisor.
This position works Monday thru Friday. Typically you will be working an 8-hour day/5 days per week, depending on the needs of the department. Hours may change due to maintenance needs and weather conditions, etc. There are no paid holidays. Due to the nature of our activities, we cannot accommodate extensive vacation requests, so please do not apply if you will be requesting more than five total vacation days during the season. Long term positions generally run from April through October.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Utility staff with maintenance of the City's water and sanitary sewer systems which include gate valves, fire hydrants, wells and sewer manholes.
- Mow grass around utility facilities minimally.
- Exercise gate valves and flush hydrants often.
- Perform other duties to assist full-time personnel.
- Data Entry via laptop or iPad regarding maintenance completed.
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Minimum age of 18

Salary : $18 - $22
