The City of Yucaipa is seeking a qualified S.T.A.R.S. Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the S.T.A.R.S. After School Program on local school campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise program staff and students in a group setting;
- Implement program policies and procedures;
- Maintain a clean and orderly site;
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily administration;
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, school district personnel, and the public;
- Deal with challenging situations effectively and efficiently;
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, families, and the general public.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older;
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent;
- Must have at least one year of experience in after-school/childcare programming or three college courses in child development or a related field;
- Knowledge of child development and instructional processes;
- Able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions;
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and significant physical abilities including reaching/handling, talking/hearing, near and far visual acuity.
