City Paint and Body is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. Duties
- Perform auto body repairs on damaged vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
- Fabricate and assemble parts as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various repair tasks, including welding and working with sheet metal.
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose issues and develop effective repair strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components as required during the repair process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in auto body repairs.
- Proficiency in fabricating, assembling, and welding vehicle components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of auto painting techniques and materials is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary during repairs.

This position is paid on a commission/ flag rate structure. Flag pay is guaranteed to meet local minimum wage requirements for all hours worked each week. The compensation range listed is the average flag pay range for a typical full-time employee in this position.
