Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and estimating, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required to restore them to pre-accident condition.
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and answer any questions regarding repairs.
- Collaborate with technicians ,service advisors and insurance adjusters to ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive repair techniques and industry trends.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and providing timely updates on vehicle status.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the estimating process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in auto estimating or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and service procedures is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Ability to align priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess damage accurately.
- Fluent in spanish is a plus!
