Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 salary, plus comprehensive benefits
Our client, a Chicago-based manufacturer of industrial safety equipment, seeks a Sales Support Administrator to support their sales team! This role will take on some light receptionist duties along with more elevated administrative support for the sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcoming visitors and providing them with a friendly and professional first point of contact.
- Managing all incoming phone calls and transferring them to the appropriate employee or department.
- Fulfill product literature requests from customers and sales representatives.
- Handling administrative tasks such as sorting and distributing mail, managing the inventory of office supplies, etc.
- Manage the Purchase Order inbox by printing, scanning, and organizing per standard operating procedures.
- Prepare Export papers as required.
- Complete miscellaneous projects from Executive Management as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in administrative or sales support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Some Logistics experienced preferred.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be proficient in Excel
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities, and a willingness to jump into any situation.
- Great work ethic with the ability to work under pressure.
- Resiliency, positive attitude, and a great sense of humor.
