Office Manager

Part Time, Non-Exempt Position
Position Summary: The right candidate will maintain responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the office. Perform administrative functions, such as answering phones, greeting guests, signing for packages, maintaining an organized office, and providing administrative support to the Northern California team. The position is in office, Monday through Friday, in the San Francisco office.

Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - college degree is a plus
- One to two years of related experience and/or training
- Possess superb interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and personnel
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing deadlines
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
Skills Needed:
- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
- Team-oriented, shows ownership of assigned tasks; works well independently and with a team.
- Good organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks at same time and meet deadlines.
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to research and ask great questions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Greet employees and guests desk open @ 8:30AM
- Develop effective working relationships with all departments
- Handle confidential and non-routine information
- Maintain responsibility for reception and telephone duties, including sorting/distributing mail and signing for packages
- Troubleshoot any problems with office machinery. Call for maintenance if necessary
- Act as liaison to property management and assist with scheduling office maintenance
- Manage meeting calendars for division conference rooms
- Order and stock office and kitchen supplies
- Maintain office and kitchen services such as coffee service, water, Whole Foods, Office Depot, Staples, UPS, and FedEx accounts
- Schedule and organize activities such as team lunches, dinners, meetings, travel and department activities for all members of the team
- Regular and reliable attendance
Compensation: The compensation for this role is $33 - $36 per hour commensurate with experience.
