Membership Engagement Specialist
The Membership Engagement Specialist will need to possess an inclusive knowledge of the credit union’s loan policies and procedures, data processing procedures, and relevant regulations. This position also requires extensive knowledge of the core processing system.
Reports to: Branch Manager
Status: Full-time (40 hours)
PTO: 16 Days Plus 3 Emergency Days
Compensation: Base Pay, Loan Incentives, Holiday Bonus

Responsibilities
(includes, but not limited to)
Member Services
- Responsibilities that include waiting on members, balancing a cash drawer, and assisting members by phone.
- Accurately provide support for member transactions
- Process incoming mail transactions
- Process member transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Answer phone calls, emails, and online communications to assist members with questions and requests
- Possess the ability to accurately and completely open various members accounts and shares
- Ability to communicate with members through various mediums
- Knowledgeable of the CU’s products and services
- Cross-selling of products and services
- Be able to assist members with setting up various products and services
- Be able to research accounts to assist in member inquiries
- Precise attention to detail
- Excellent research, judgment, and analytical thinking skills
- Provide follow-up and follow-through with member concerns/issues
- Help provide members with custom solutions
- Support the credit union’s focus on positive member experience
- Actively seek out sales opportunities and cross-sell opportunities and promote credit union products and services based on member needs
- Meet or exceed sales goals to support overall credit union sales and financial goals.
Operations
- Commit to the success of the credit union
- Maintain a positive, cheerful work atmosphere
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Participate in ongoing education/educated regarding current polices, procedures and regulations that affect the job.
- Courteous communications with staff and management
- Provide top quality member service
- Provide assistance to entire team
- Assist with data entry into the core system.
- Assist with multiple spreadsheet entries and maintenance.
- Must be dependable and reliable. Accountability and respect are a top priority.
- Any other duties assigned by management
Lending
- Be knowledgeable of the credit union’s loan products and services
- Be able to have starter conversations about potential loan opportunities and provide the appropriate referrals to the lending department

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
