Position Title: Managed Services Unified Communications Technician

Role Overview:
As a Unified Communications technician, you will play a key role in deploying, optimizing, and supporting cloud-based communication solutions for our clients. In this dynamic position, you'll focus on implementing Cisco Webex Calling services and ensuring seamless integration with network infrastructure. By leveraging agile methodologies and your technical expertise, you’ll deliver exceptional service and ensure robust client satisfaction.
Operating within flexible billing structures—hourly or flat-rate—you'll be responsible for accurate time tracking to maintain billing accuracy and cost transparency. Your work will include hands-on configuration, remote troubleshooting, and client training, with occasional on-site support as needed.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Configuring and managing Cisco Webex Calling environments, including auto-attendants, call queues, hunt groups.
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco on-premise applications (Call manager, Unity Connection, Unified Contact Center Express).
- Lead projects deploying or migrating customers onto the Webex platform.
- Monitor queues to handle trouble tickets and change requests in a timely manner.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for unified communications and a proven track record of working with Cisco Webex technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client systems for optimization and upgrades.
- Deliver agile VOIP network services, encompassing in-house, remote, and on-site support.
- Deploy and manage IP phones, softphones, conference devices, and other Webex-enabled endpoints.
- Collaborate with engineers to stage and deploy equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
- Document network configurations and setups with clarity and precision.
Qualifications:
- Associates or higher degree preferred.
- Possession of Cisco certifications such as CCNA and CCNP is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT/Managed Services technician or equivalent work experience.
Work Environment:
