My client is a well-respected design-build general contractor who works across the Tri-State area. They specialize in Corporate Interiors, Retail, Hospitality, Healthcare, etc. They are looking for a lead estimator who has experience working for a General Contractor.
About the opportunity
As the Lead Estimator, you will be an integral part of our pre-construction team, responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects. You will work on a variety of challenging and impactful projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives. The projects can range in value from $1M - $10M.
- Estimation: Lead the preparation of comprehensive and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.
- Bid Proposals: Develop detailed and competitive bid proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements, client expectations, and company standards.
- Cost Tracking: Collaborate with the finance team to track and analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with estimated budgets.

Requirements
You must have experience working on renovations and or ground up construction projects across the commercial sector. I am looking for someone who has a Bachelor of Science, ideally in construction (not essential), and has 5 years’ experience working in these sectors. It is preferred you have experience working as an Estimator, but my client is also open to looking at someone who is a Project Manager and has Pre-Construction experience.
