About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MDU Account Sales Executive to be an important part of our team. The Fiber Optics MDU Account Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth in multi-dwelling units by building relationships with property managers and residents. This role includes presenting fiber optic solutions, negotiating contracts, and conducting market research to identify opportunities. The executive will collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and provide excellent customer support, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and achieving revenue targets. This opportunity sits within Cityside sales department. You will operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment and excel in hitting the Companys objectives. To be successful you will have superior communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Understand Cityside Fibers core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do.
- Identify and establish relationships with property managers, developers, and other stakeholders to promote fiber service offerings.
- Conduct effective presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of fiber communication services.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing structures that align with client needs while achieving company profitability goals.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and facilitate renewals or upgrades.
- Work closely with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure smooth implementation and service delivery.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
- Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of Cityside Fiber.
Qualifications
- High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry.
- Bachelors degree in business, communications, or a related field.
- 3 years prior experience specifically in fiber communications sales, particularly within the MDU market segment.
- Proven experience in telecommunications sales or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Basic familiarity with fiber internet services and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Competence in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for managing leads and sales activities.
- In-depth understanding of fiber optics technology, including installation processes and telecommunications systems.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and salesforce.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities for engaging clients and presenting tailored solutions.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain robust relationships with property managers, homeowners associations, and developers.
- Strong customer-centric mindset with effective problem-solving skills to meet client needs.
- Comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly within the fiber optics and MDU sectors.
- Proficiency in prospecting, networking, and generating leads within the MDU segment.
- Understanding of fiber optics technology, installation methods, and maintenance processes.
- Familiarity with email and collaboration tools (e.g., Outlook, Slack, Teams) for effective team and client communication.
- Strong team player acts like an owner and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards.
Location
Our Headquarters and field offices are located in Irvine. May be required to travel to project/customer sites to fulfill job responsibilities.
Compensation
The On-Target Compensation (OTC) for this role is $140,000 annually with unlimited potential, which includes both base salary and expected commissions based on achieving sales goals. Starting annual base salary at $80,000 Monthly Commission.
