About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Human Resources Specialist to be an important part of our team. The Senior Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for leading talent acquisition efforts, ensuring successful onboarding of new hires, managing day to day employee relation matters, maintaining employment records and assisting with other employment related initiatives. This role reports to Cityside Fibers Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel who oversees HR, Benefits, Legal and Regulatory affairs for the Company. To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. You must have a solid understanding of employee relationships, be able to anticipate needs, as well as have extensive experience in talent acquisition, and on boarding. The position requires you to successfully and efficiently handle administrative tasks associated with the Companys talent acquisition and employee relations efforts. You will operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment and excel in hitting the Companys objectives.
Responsibilities
- Understand Cityside Fibers core purpose and values and be passionate about what we do
- Support talent acquisition initiatives and manage talent acquisition coordinator to ensure hiring plan is met and delays are avoided
- Support learning and training programs for new hires as well as existing team members
- Support internal HR related inquiries for client groups
- Provide support to all employees primarily in the area of benefits and employee relation issues
- Serve in an administrative capacity for HR initiatives being implemented by the team
- Assist with new hire onboarding preparation
- Manage employee termination process
- Maintain, store and organize employment records for the HR and payroll teams
- Keep up with latest HR trends and best practices
- Maintain contract records/files and manage, track and ensure compliance
- Managing HR compliance and audits
- Assist General Counsel with formulation of policies, procedures, operating practices, and performance standards for Company workforce
- Maintain databases
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Work in and contribute to an atmosphere of trust and integrity with fellow employees to ensure the overall success of Cityside Fiber
Qualifications
- High energy individual who is willing to be an integral part of a high growth service provider who puts people first, dares to be different and has fun disrupting an industry
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or equivalent experience
- 6 years of HR related experience
- 4 years of Talent Acquisition experience
- Solid knowledge of HR systems, policies and processes including: hiring, performance management, and talent and succession planning
- Experience communicating to and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proven history of excellent customer service and ability to build relationships
- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to multi-task and be highly responsive to internal and external clients
- Demonstrated intense customer focus
- Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty and strong work ethic
- Proven ability to work with confidential information while exercising sound judgment and decision making
- Meticulous attention to detail with particular expertise collecting, organizing, and reporting out key contracting metadata to inform business intelligence
- Strong knowledge of the fiber internet market and technology trends
- Sharp, analytical, and thoughtful. Has sound judgment and ability to be right a lot
- Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed
- Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SharePoint, NetSuite, Payroll Systems and ATS platforms
Location
- This location is based out of our Irvine, CA offices. May be required to travel to project/customer sites to fulfill job responsibilities. Position requires candidate to work out of the Companys HQ office at least 4 days a week during Companys regular business hours.
Compensation
Starting annual salary at $80,000 (actual starting rate may vary based on candidates qualifications, skills and years of experience).
