What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an entry-level, part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and help us find new local government organizations to start using our software. An ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about making cold calls, motivated by commission-based work, and excited to make an impact at a young startup.
We’re seeking a high-performer who can demonstrate the following qualities:
- Self-motivated, hunter mentality - demonstrating a competitive drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
- Eager to use the best method possible for finding qualified leads, primarily through cold calling and email outreach
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detail oriented, especially when it comes to logging activities in the CRM
- Goal-oriented, continually seeks to improve individual performance
In this position, you’ll get to…
- Primarily utilize cold calls to prospect and identify potential customers, who are cities and counties, for our software-as-a-service (SaaS) product
- Join an early team and grow with it
- Conduct outbound calls to establish new relationships with potential customers and build rapport
- Collaborate with your Account Executive and the company founder to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics

Compensation
- $12/hour Commissions
- OTE: $30K - 50K (Part Time)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Supplemental Pay:
- Commission pay
