Civicap Partners (Civicap or “CCP”) is a Texas-based real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition and development of attainable multifamily communities in Texas. Civicap is seeking a dynamic Finance Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in supporting our portfolio management functions, including portfolio modeling, developing fund-level business plans, coordinating debt placements, and conducting in-depth ad-hoc analyses. Additionally, you will be responsible for corporate accounting of the management company. Position Responsibilities:
- Track and maintain portfolio and asset level performance
- Assist in annual Portfolio budgets while building a working understanding of underlying asset's revenue, operating expenses, and debt obligations
- Manage and document loan terms including covenant testing, debt service requirements, and maturity schedules
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in portfolio financial performance
- Prepare refinancing and disposition related summaries for investment committee
- Collaborate with portfolio management and IR teams to respond to investor inquiries, monitor portfolio performance, and track key performance indicators
- Track critical dates
- Review of operating partner waterfalls and fund-level waterfalls to ensure compliance with partnership documents
- Oversee housing affordability compliance reporting to meet regulatory requirements
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for the management company including analyzing performance and providing detailed reports to management
- Monitor and manage the cash flow of the management company, ensuring there are sufficient funds for operations and handling the timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Legal entity management
