What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Party Chief position at Civil Constructors Inc?
Duties:
- Conduct field surveys and measurements using various surveying equipment and technology
- Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps, drawings, and reports
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
- Perform quality control checks on survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in surveying software - Trimble preferred
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience with GPS technology and surveying equipment such as Trimble is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
