As a Bridge/Structural Engineer with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll work alongside collaborative team members, dedicated mentors, and experienced managers that are committed to supporting your career growth and success.
You'll be responsible for leading design and plan development tasks and performing structural analysis and design of a variety of structure types, including highway, railroad and bike/ped structures. The ideal candidate will also be able to perform bridge inspections and load ratings as required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of project proposals, scope, and schedules
- Help to develop, monitor, and maintain engineering budgets
- Serve as a quality assurance team review member and mentor for a team of bridge/structural engineers
- Coordinate with sub-consultants and in-house technical staff to meet project deadlines

- B.S. in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (M.S. a plus);
- P.E. registration or ability to obtain one in the near future;
- 7 years of relevant bridge design experience;
- Strong technical skills relevant to bridge/structural design and analysis;
- Experience in leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Working experience with marketing, business development, project pursuits, and proposal preparation a plus;
- Working knowledge of Microstation and/or Civil 3D.
