An opportunity is available in our Las Vegas office for an experienced litigation legal assistant with top-notch technical and administrative skills. The selected individual will be responsible for formatting, proofreading, and efiling documents and formatting correspondence, memoranda and complex legal documents, all aspects of discovery, maintaining and processing case information including case calendaring, managing the progression of cases to final disposition.
Required Skills
This position requires excellent technical, administrative, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of legal procedures and filings, and the ability to work well independently and with others in a busy office environment.
A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and document management systems strongly preferred.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of recent law firm experience working in civil litigation. Must be familiar with state and federal court rules, procedures and filing requirements and the day-to-day activities of a litigation practice.
